PROJECT GOALS

In the original kitchen, the homeowner’s personal style did not match up with the traditional cabinets, the wood range hood and granite countertops. Storage was also an issue. With the kitchen remodel, the client wanted to change the current pantry to tall cabinets with roll-out trays and add a trash roll-out in a cabinet out of site. The goal was to create a space that felt more contemporary while still keeping it bright and open.

THE END RESULT

In the end, the kitchen is bright and airy with ample storage solutions all around. With white cabinets, a classic subway tile backsplash, black hardware and faucet, and accent cabinets with glass uppers, the space feels both modern and stylish. Every corner of the room was thoughtfully designed.

“I love the message center on the end by the fridge, which gives a convenient and hidden place to take notes and drop mail,” says designer Lindsey Dunajcik.
