MANIACI KITCHEN REMODEL

PROJECT GOALS

For this kitchen remodel, the homeowners specifically wanted to add an island to seat four people. They wanted to replace the separate eating area in the kitchen with an island that would act as the eating area and offer a great space for a cup of coffee. Additionally, the island would serve as a drop zone for grocery bags or other items as people walked into the kitchen area. The final request from the homeowners is that the installed kitchen island needed to have cabinetry for additional storage.

THE END RESULT

Heidi, one of our kitchen and bath designers, loved working with the client. The couple was incredibly fun to work with and was open to options that were outside the box. For example, the Cambria Quartz countertop that was installed is a unique shape. They also incorporated cabinetry under the cooktop with a double oven instead of the standard oven and stove appliance. The space now offers great storage space and incorporates a useful gathering area that doesn’t crowd the kitchen work area.
