Mui Kitchen Renovation

PROJECT GOALS

Our client was looking for a change in their outdated kitchen. The original space was dark and crowded, with minimal workspace available. They looked to Heidi Bartels to open and brighten the space while including ample countertops for prep.

THE END RESULT

In this kitchen renovation project, Heidi and the RSI team relocated a window to create space on the back wall for our client’s new range and hood. This also gave more room in the prep area on either side of the cooking surface and created a beautiful focal point.

We also eliminated a corner pantry closet to gain more countertop and cabinet space. Kitchen lighting was enhanced by removing the outdated fluorescent lightbox, adding can lights and hanging pendants over the island. We also removed a seldom-used desk to create a beverage center for entertaining.

The new kitchen is bright, airy and warm — a perfect place to cook, eat and relax!
